Windows Vista - Commonly Used Shortcuts

Ctrl+N - Opens a new window

Alt+Up - Go UP a level.. nice, since the UP button has vanished from the toolbar

Backspace - Go back to the previous folder you were just browsing.. not to be confused with going UP a level

Alt+Left - Same as Backspace, goes back to previous folder

Alt+Right - Goes forward a folder, if you've previously went back a folder

Alt+Enter - Opens the properties of the selected item

Alt+D - Select the text in the Address Bar

Numlock+Minus Sign (-) - Collapse selected folder

Numlock+Plus Sign (+) - Display contents of selected folder

F4 - Drops down the Address Bar

F11 - Minimize or Maximize current window

Ctrl + Mousewhile scroll up/down - Change size of selected icons
