Exchange 5.5 - Using Exmerge to export mailboxes to PST files

Overview: Use Exmerge 3.71 to export mailboxes to PST files on an Exchange 5.5 server. (A more recent version of Exmerge should be used for subsequent versions of Exchange)

1. Copy the ExMerge 3.71 files to the \exchsrvr\bin directory.
2. Double-click on \exchsrvr\bin\exmerge.exe.
3. Click NEXT at the WELCOME dialog.
4. Select TWO STEP MERGE and click NEXT.
5. Select Step 1: Copy Data to Personal Folders and click NEXT.
6. Type the name of the Exchange server and click NEXT.
7. Select the mailbox(es) that youd like to export to PST and click NEXT.
8. Review all info and click NEXT.
9. ExMerge will now export to the PST files.
10. Under MAILBOX INFORMATION, click on FINISH when it reports OPERATION COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY.
11. You may now import these PSTs to another server if you'd like.
