Excel - To Highlight Every Other Line a Particular Color

 

Overview: When printing a large spreadsheet, it may be useful to display rows in alternating colors for readability.

1. Select the area of cells.
2. From the top toolbar, click on FORMAT | CONDITIONAL FORMATTING.
Select Formula from the drop down menu and paste in this formula
=MOD(ROW(),2)=1
Select type of blue format you want
Click OK
If it does not work check to see if it has added quote marks to the formual, if so delete them.
